Celebrating 113 Years

The Rural Hall Historic Train Depot is a restored train station originally established in 1907 to serve two railroad lines in Rural Hall, North Carolina. Today, it continues to thoughtfully serve its community, honor the history of the station and preserve railroad memorabilia.

We wouldn’t be able to conduct business at the Depot without the gracious support of our community. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, sponsoring a community event, or becoming a preferred vendor, please contact us.

Upcoming Events

Open House – the Depot will be open for tours from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on the 3rd Saturday of every month from May through October. Admission is free.

Santa at the Caboose – Santa Claus will make his annual appearance at the Depot on Saturday, December 11, from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Admission is free. 

In adherence with state COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing measures will be in place and masks are required for indoor activities.
